Student: 3rd - 5th grade

Description of Instructor: Hutto ISD Elementary science teacher and robotics coach, Mrs. Kristel Dillon will be leading the AMAZING robotics mini-camp. She graduated from University of Central Oklahoma and majored in Elementary Education and has been teaching in Hippo Nation for 2 years.

Description of Camp: In the Robotics Mini Camp, students will follow directions to build a fully functioning Vex IQ robot. Students will troubleshoot and solve problems to improve their robot design. This mini camp is suitable for beginners with little to no experience with robotics, and students that have had prior experience in an after school robotics club.

What to Bring: Water bottle, face mask, appropriate clothing and snack is required.

Registration Fee: $115.00

PLEASE NOTE: Hutto ISD COVID guidelines will be followed. Campers are required to prescreen temperatures before attending camp. Hand sanitizer will be provided and masks will be worn at all times. No outside visitors or guests will be allowed in the facility. The robotics mini-camp is open to the public.
