Description of Class: Whether you’re a beginning, an intermediate or an advanced player, Hippo Tennis Camp will focus on skill refinement through practice drills and mini-match play while breaking down the fundamental skills of tennis through easily understood games and exercises to help improve the athlete’s overall coordination and technique. Players will learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys and serves during a series of drills designed to teach skills in a fun and dynamic way. In addition to developing a love for tennis, athletes will learn the rules and etiquette that make tennis such an exciting game to play.
What to Bring: Tennis racket, water bottle, towel, and an unopened can of tennis balls.
Attire: Athletic attire including tennis shoes. No sandals, slides, or flip flops.
Registration Fee: $50, plus a can of tennis balls
